Favorites disappeared
I have an HTC Evo with Sprint service. I've been using the app for years with no problem, but all of a sudden my favorites aren't on my phone. I've hit "sync" several times, but they're still not there.

My favorites have disappeared from my phone (HTC EVO), although they're still on the website. Syncing hasn't helped.

Yes, the problem is still there. The labels within favorites exist, but none of the actual favorites are showing up (either inside or outside the category labels). I did a factory reset several weeks ago, but the app was still working fine afterward. This just started about a week ago, and no, there have been no updates.

–Sorry to hear this, Robin. Would you mind providing me with the version number for the operating system of your device and version of Telenav GPS Navigator that you have installed?
By chance, have you tried clearing the devices cache and data for the application then retrying to sync with the website?-
Mine did too but after I logged into my account (telenav) account online my favorites and saved addresses went to the newly installed update.

I did all that. I finally just uninstalled all of it that I could and reinstalled it, and it seems to be working for now. But it's version 7.1.2.7121044.

I had the same problem and ultimately did the same thing. Complete uninstall & reinstall. That solved the problem for me as well.
I think the TeleNav & Google Maps apps have gotten so large that they push the limits of the EVO. I've had to remove most of my non-SD apps to accomodate these two apps.
I don't think TeleNav or Google Maps are going to get any smaller. It's probably time for a new phone. -

Unfortunately, this problem is still there with TeleNav version 7 on Android (mine is a Sprint EVO too). After responding to upgrade to version 7, all my favorites and recent places are gone, and will not sync, although they are showing on the web page for my account.
Tech Support had me downgrade to version 6, and say no to the prompt to upgrade to 7. (After about 20 minutes on hold, and 30 minutes walking through this with Tech Support, the agent finally told me it was a known issue!)
Said it is being worked on by engineeering (apparently for over 4 months based on this thread)
Said they would email me when fixed. -

I have the opposite problem. When logging on via the Web to mytelenav my favorites are blank. They are still on my Android phone.
Any suggestions? -

Nope, sorry. But I just lost all my favorites on my phone AGAIN.

We need a way to back up favorites in MyTelenav.
